The final chapter of Velzea's Invasion felt somewhat rushed. There isn't much attention paid to the “fall” in corruption; instead it goes all in on the “evil” side. That hopeless feeling at the ending rubbed me the wrong way.
Noriko's corruption arc also felt unclear and underexplained. Overall it gave me the impression that every character was just a servant or puppet of the corruption crystal.
Shiro's fall was even rougher. It completely failed to show that particular pleasure that should come with a proper corruption scenario.

It's kind of amazing that a work centered on TS could get made as a mainstream TV anime.

Picked up Tsukiyo Crow's new work.
Same formula underneath, still very much his classic style, but it does add some fun ideas—like restraints transforming into lewd markings and becoming permanently fixed. The final grand spell was interesting too.
This one also brought back all the heroines from the previous entries for a brief reappearance, which made it feel like a finale worth the price.
